Price Energy Accurately[]

Make energy prices reflect the full cost of production including pollution, land degradation, CO2 emissions, and depletion of fossil fuels. This would reward efficiency and conservation, make energy-intensive things cost more, and help us consider the kinds of energy we use. We'd use energy more appropriately.

Instead of: Undervaluing clean technology and designing our infrastructure and lives around overconsumption of a limited and polluting resource for which there is no known substitute.
